Drive-Thru Church [video]

Tongue in cheek but pretty funny!  It focuses too much on individual wants and doesn't address churches that refuse to accommodate in reasonable ways a changing culture around them.  But still funny.

Okay, I love that. It points up how distant more traditional churches are from the world, because most of the church people I know would not even *get* what these requests were about.

A perfect parable of consumerism in the church. There's trying to be missionaly relevant to a culture, and there's "serving up" what people want like they're consumers. "Making disciples" ain't the same as attracting people to your product.

I don't find it funny at all. I really think that this video must teach us something about the real christianity. I mean Christianity is where Christ is glorified and is more while we are less. It's not about us but about Him who is the Lord of all!

it's time to check our faith once again. far be it that we would just go through the motions of being a christian but not really a christian.
