Noah, not God, made dinosaurs extinct

Here's the executive summary of a very important scientific report regarding how the dinosaurs became extinct .

The executive summary, of course, is a cartoon.  By Dan Piraro (Bizarro)

Related, I also enjoyed this video where artist Dan Piraro of BizarroBlog talks about his religiously-themed cartoons that were too controversial for the papers.  On the latter topic of why do we wear a cross...
"Why is the cross the symbol?  That's got to be the last thing Jesus wants to see if he ever comes back.  Don't show me that thing, that was the worst day of my life!"
A respectable point.

Tough. Jesus himself used the cross as a symbol for discipleship. He has only himself to blame for this. (And, just for the record, I'm following John P. Meier on the likely historicity of the "take up your cross" language.)

Death as the end of discipleship? Certainly authentic Jesus.
"taking up your cross"? I'm not sure the specific language of "cross" historically originated with Jesus. I'm following Robert Funk & Roy Hoover on this question. I haven't read John Meier.
